Now Rohit has surpassed Rahul in terms of most runs in ODIs.

Rohit put pressure on England bowlers from the beginning. He was getting into rhythm when the match was stopped due to bad light. It seemed that Rohit would lose his rhythm. After completing his half-century, Rohit looked up towards the sky and thanked God. India needs 305 runs to win this match and for this, it needed a good start which Rohit gave to the team along with Shubman Gill. Both of them scored centuries.

Scored a century in October 2023

Rohit had earlier scored a century in ODI against Afghanistan on 11 October. This was a match of ODI World Cup which was played in Delhi. In this match, Rohit scored 13 runs. Since then, Rohit has now scored a century in ODI and ended the drought of 16 months. Rohit completed his century in 76 balls. This is the 32nd century of his career.     Dailymintz
