Police preparing to search CCTV
According to news agency PTI's sources, the Delhi Police may write to the Parliament Secretariat seeking CCTV footage of the area where the alleged incident took place. An official said that senior police officers may also consider handing over the case from the local police to the Crime Branch.

A case was registered at the Parliament Street police station on Thursday under sections 115 (voluntarily causing hurt), 117 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), 125 (act endangering life or personal safety of others), 131 (use of criminal force), 351 (criminal intimidation) and 3(5) (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
Condition of injured BJP MPs improves
The condition of two BJP MPs, who suffered head injuries during the scuffle in Parliament complex, is now much better and they are under observation in the ICU of the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital here, officials said on Friday.
Pratap Sarangi, an MP from Odisha, and Mukesh Rajput from Uttar Pradesh were brought to hospital from Parliament on Thursday after suffering head injuries.
Mukesh Rajput is still feeling dizzy
RML Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Ajay Shukla said that the condition of both the MPs is much better now and their BP is also under control. Dr Shukla said that Mukesh Rajput is still feeling a little dizzy and has a heaviness in the head. Sarangi has a chronic heart disease. He already has a stent in his heart. He has been kept under observation in the ICU and his condition is being monitored. The treating doctors will decide on further treatment and when to shift him to the ward.

The case against Gandhi was registered hours after the BJP filed a complaint alleging that during the scuffle, two BJP MPs, Pratap Chandra Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput, physically attacked and provoked him. Dailymintz
