The police has exposed a big fraud in the SSC MTS exam being conducted at Purnia Digital Center Examination Center located at Gulabbag Hasda Road in Purnia. Police raided the center on the tip-off that the center was being managed to help fake candidates pass the exam and arrested seven employees of the center, 14 fake candidates as well as 14 real candidates.

Police raided the center on the tip-off that the center was being managed to pass the exam with the help of fake candidates and arrested seven employees of the center, 14 fake candidates as well as 14 real candidates.

It has come to light that the manager of the centre along with other members from Katihar, Patna, Siwan and Nalanda are involved in this racket. Roshan Kumar of Katihar district and Vivek Kumar of Nalanda are said to be its main masterminds.

What did the police recover?

The police confiscated three laptops, Rs 4.20 lakh in cash, one printer, 18 mobile phones, two bikes, two four-wheelers, one WiFi, one DVR, one monitor, 12 blank cheques, 22 ATM cards, 52 Aadhaar cards, 40 e-admission cards and seven original documents from the spot.

Giving information about this entire action, Superintendent of Police Kartikeya K Sharma said that the police had a tip-off about fraud at the said centre. In this regard, a team formed under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police of Cyber ​​Crime Anurag Kumar raided the centre. Many shocking facts came to light during the raid. 14 such fake candidates were arrested from the spot on the basis of biometric attendance. He said that the candidates in whose place fake candidates were appearing in the exam were kept in a house nearby.
