According to ESPNcricinfo report, Mayank Yadav has recently recovered from lumbar stress injury (small crack or weakness in the bone connecting the two parts of the back) and has started practicing bowling at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
22-year-old Mayank Yadav was injured during the T20 International series against Bangladesh in October last year. He is currently undergoing rehab. The exact date of Mayank's return has not been revealed by the BCCI, but if he passes all the fitness criteria along with bowling workload, he will be seen playing in the second half of IPL 2025.
