Butler pointed out the shortcomings of his team after the match and said that the story has been the same throughout his team's tour of India.

 England had to face defeat in the three-match ODI series against India. England could not win a single match in this series. After this defeat, the team captain Jos Butler is very disappointed. England lost by 142 runs in the third match played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and after this Butler has taunted his players.

Butler has said that the story of his team has been the same on this entire tour. England's team was successful in winning one match in T20, but England did not win a single match in the ODI series. England played eight matches on this tour of India, but could win only one match.

Butler said after the match that the story for him was the same throughout the tour which he has become used to, but now the team will have to find a way out. He said, "The story of the whole tour was the same. We did well in parts, but we could not do anything against a great team. We did not implement our plan properly. We will have to find ways to play better."

Butler has praised India's young batsman Shubman Gill, who scored a century in the third match. He said, "Shubman played a brilliant innings. We had to play well to achieve this target. We will have to start again, but this has become a familiar story for us. We will have to bat long. We were playing against a great team that constantly challenged us."
