The maximum temperature was recorded at 26.2 degrees Celsius, 3.9 degrees above normal. The minimum temperature was 10.2 degrees Celsius, 1.8 degrees above normal. New Delhi. While the month of January was the hottest in six years, the beginning of February was also the hottest in 15 years. On Saturday morning, moderate and dense fog was seen in some places, which affected the visibility. Light rain is expected on Monday and Tuesday.
The day started with fog on Saturday. Due to medium to dense fog, the minimum visibility level at IGI Airport and Safdarjung was reduced to 50 meters. This also affected road, rail and air traffic. Later, it started improving as the day progressed.

Smog and moderate fog are expected in the morning as well
The weather department has predicted that smog and moderate fog are likely on Sunday morning as well. Dense fog may also occur at some places. The sky will remain partly cloudy during the day. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 24 and nine degrees respectively. A yellow alert for fog has also been issued.
Light rain likely on Tuesday morning
There is a possibility of light rain on Monday night and Tuesday morning. The maximum temperature during this period will be 22 to 25 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 9 to 12 degrees. The weather will become clear from Wednesday. The maximum temperature can be 22 to 24 and the minimum temperature can be 12 to 14 degrees.
Delhi's air remained very bad for the fourth consecutive day
On Saturday, Delhi's air quality remained in the very poor category for the fourth consecutive day.
