PM Modi's big gift to Delhi, will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate four projects worth Rs 12,200 crore
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of four projects worth Rs 12200 crore in Delhi on Sunday. This includes the Namo Bharat Corridor between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar and the Metro corridor built between Janakpuri West and Krishna Park. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the Rithala-Kundli Metro Corridor and will also inaugurate the construction work of the Central Ayurveda Research Institute in Rohini.

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of four projects worth Rs 12,200 crore in Delhi on Sunday. This includes the Namo Bharat Corridor built between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar and the Metro corridor completed between Janakpuri West and Krishna Park.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate the operation of Namo Bharat Train and Metro on these corridors. With this, the service of Namo Bharat Train will be available between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar from 5 pm. At the same time, Janakpuri West-Krishna Park Metro Corridor will open for passengers at 3 pm.
Sahibabad-New Ashok Nagar Corridor is ready at a cost of 4600 crores
This 13 km long corridor between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor has been constructed at a cost of about Rs 4600 crore. In Phase 4, a 2.8 km long underground metro corridor has been constructed between Janakpuri West and Krishna Park Extension at a cost of about Rs 1200 crore. This is the first corridor of Delhi Metro in Phase 4 on which metro service will be available from Sunday.
Krishna Park Extension becomes new metro station
Krishna Park Extension is a new metro station on this corridor. This corridor is part of the Janakpuri West-RK Ashram corridor under construction in Phase 4 and is an extension project of the current Magenta Line. Currently, metro service is available from Botanical Garden Noida to Janakpuri West on the Magenta Line.
The total length of the Magenta Line will be 40 kilometers
When the metro service starts between Janakpuri West and Krishna Park, the metro service will be available directly from Botanical Garden Noida to Krishna Park Extension on the Magenta Line. This will make the total length of the Magenta Line 40 km. Along with this, the metro network in NCR will become 394.448 km and the number of stations will become 289.
Metro frequency will increase between Janakpuri West and Krishna Park Extension
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) says that initially the metro will be available between Janakpuri West and Krishna Park Extension at an interval of 16 minutes. Next year the entire 29.26 km Janakpuri West-RK Ashram corridor will be ready. Then the frequency of the metro will increase.
Rithala-Kundli Metro Corridor will be built at a cost of Rs 6,230 crore
Apart from this, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of Rithala-Kundli Metro Corridor. This corridor will be constructed at a cost of about 6,230 crores, whose length will be 26.5 kilometers. This will benefit the people of Rohini, Bawana, Narela in Delhi as well as the people of Kundli in Haryana.
This corridor is an extension project of the current Red Line (Rithala-New Bus Adda Ghaziabad). When it is completed in four years, direct metro will be available from Kundli in Haryana to Ghaziabad via Rithala in Delhi. The above three projects will speed up the transport facilities of Delhi and NCR.
A new Ayurveda hospital will be built in Rohini
The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the construction of the Central Ayurveda Research Institute in Rohini. This new Ayurveda hospital will be constructed at a cost of Rs 185 crore.
