After Devendra Fadnavis took oath as CM, Eknath Shinde took oath as Deputy CM. It is noteworthy that just before taking oath, Eknath Shinde said something that shocked even the Governor of Maharashtra.

After speaking this much, Shinde started taking oath. When Shinde was speaking, all the leaders sitting on the stage were stunned. Eknath Shinde greeted everyone from Balasaheb Thackeray to PM Modi in Marathi language. After this, he took oath as Deputy CM.

There was no delay in forming the government: Devendra Fadnavis

After the cabinet meeting, CM Devendra Fadnavis said, "I don't think there has been any delay in forming the government. Even before this, in 2004, there was a delay of about 12-13 days. In 2009, there was a delay of about 9 days. We have to understand that when there is a coalition government, many decisions have to be taken. In a coalition government, consultation has to be done on a very large scale. We have done that consultation and we have also almost decided the portfolios, something is left, we will do that too."

Eknath Shinde took oath as Deputy CM

Let us tell you that for the last few days, there was a tug of war going on in Maharashtra for the post of Chief Minister. Shiv Sena MLAs wanted Eknath Shinde to be made the CM. However, when it was confirmed that Devendra Fadnavis will become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, today Shiv Sena MLAs requested Eknath Shinde to take oath as Deputy CM.

Shivsena is demanding 12 ministries 

According to the information, Eknath Shinde has been adamant on his demand for the Home Ministry for many days. According to the Hindustan Times report, Shinde is demanding 12 ministries along with the Home Ministry for Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena leaders say that since he did not get the CM post, the Home Ministry is the only responsibility that would be right for Shinde.
