Indian Railway: Numbers of 44 trains will change from January 1, check the new numbers here before making reservations

Train News Hindi The numbers of 44 trains running from South Eastern Railway zone will change from January 1. Currently, trains running with number 18 will now run with number 68. Passengers will have to pay special attention to the train number before booking tickets so that they do not face any problem. The train number of 08053-08054-Kharagpur-Tata-Kharagpur MEMU Passenger will now become 68011-68012.

Jamshedpur. Train numbers running from South East Railway Zone will change from January 1. The trains which are currently running with number 18 will now run with number 68. Therefore, before booking any train from January 1, passengers will have to pay special attention to the train number, otherwise there will be trouble in booking tickets. Changes are being made in the numbers of a total of 44 trains passing through South East Railway Zone.

Change in train number in Chakradharpur Railway Division too

Passengers please note! From the new year i.e. January 1, 2025, the numbers of 44 special trains passing through and originating from Chakradharpur Railway Division are being changed. "Zero" will be removed from the numbers of these trains. However, there will be no change in the timings of these trains, and they will run as per their scheduled timetable as before.

Senior DCM of Chakradharpur Railway Division Aditya Kumar Chaudhary said that the numbers of 44 special trains of the division will change from January 1, 2025. All these trains will run with the old numbers before the Corona period. At present, the Railways has not made any change in the fares of the trains.  Dailymintz

1.Chakradharpur Rourkela MEMU Special train number 08163 will now become 68025.

2.Rourkela Chakradharpur MEMU Special train number 08164 will now become 68026.

3.Tata Barbil Special train number 08123 will now become 58103.

4.Barbil Tata Special train number 08124 will now become 58104.

5.Guwa Tata Passenger Special train number 08156 will now become 58110.

6.Tata Guwa Passenger Special train number 08155 will now become 58109.

7.Rourkela Tata MEMU Special train number 08146 will now become 68044.

8.Tata Rourkela MEMU Special train number 08145 will now become 60043.

9.Badam Pahar Tata MEMU Special train number 08130 will now become 68130.
