New Delhi. 5G service was launched across the country on 1 October 2022. After the launch of the service, Reliance Jio and Airtel started rolling out the latest generation cellular network. At that time VI could not do so due to financial problems, but now the company has started rolling out 5G service in many areas of the country. Last month it was reported that VI will launch 5G in 17 circles by March 2025.
Vi's 5G service
After launching 5G, VI has become the third company to offer this service. VI has rolled out 5G after two years. Currently, the latest generation cellular network is available in 17 Licensed Service Areas (LAS) across the country. VI has rolled it out in select areas only. Therefore, not everyone can access it at the moment.
