Trains Cancelled: Passengers please note, these trains will be canceled from 1 December to 28 January due to fog
With the onset of winter season, its effect is also being seen on train services. Due to fog, many trains are getting delayed while some trains have been cancelled. Indian Railways has already released the schedule of cancelling or reducing the frequency of many trains from 1 December 2024 to 28 February 2025. This will also have a direct impact on the passengers traveling through Koderma, Dhanbad and Gaya. The speed limit of the train is adversely affected due to fog. New Delhi Howrah Grand Code Section is known as the lifeline. Cancellation or reduction in the frequency of these trains will cause trouble to the passengers.
These trains will remain canceled
1.Ajmer-Sealdah Express (12988) - Will be cancelled every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.2.Sealdah-Ajmer Express (12987) – Will be cancelled every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.3.Amritsar-Tata Express (18103/18104) - This train will be completely cancelled from 4 December to 28 February 2025.4.Howrah-Mathura Chambal Express (12177) – Will remain cancelled between Agra Cantt and Mathura Junction from 6 December 2024 to 10 January 2025.5.Mathura-Howrah Chambal Express (12178)- Will not run between Mathura Junction and Agra Cantt from 2 December 2024 to 6 January 2025.
Difficulties of passengers will increase
Passengers traveling from Koderma station will have to face a lot of trouble due to these changes. Due to the wedding in December, the bride and groom and their families will face problems in traveling. At the same time, students giving competitive exams and people traveling for treatment will also be affected. Also, people planning to travel during the holidays will be shocked.
Fog will affect the operation of VVIP trains like Rajdhani, Duronto, Vande Bharat as well as other mail and express trains. In such a situation, the timings of many trains can be changed, due to which passengers may have to face immediate problems.
Barwadih-Chopan-Chunar passenger train will start from 1 December
The Railway Board has approved the operation of Barwadih Chopan Chunar Passenger train number 05653/03654 from December 1. Palamu MP Vishnu Dayal Ram will flag off the train at a program organized at Daltonganj Railway Station at 2:30 pm on the same day and start its operation.
Let us tell you that the MP had continuously raised the matter in the Lok Sabha under Rule 377 and Zero Hour. Along with this, he had written a letter to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and met him personally and demanded to start the operation of the train.During Covid-19, the operation of Barwadih-Chhapra-Chunar passenger train was stopped. Due to the stoppage of operation of this train, passengers of about 11 railway stations under Palamu parliamentary constituency namely Nagar Untari, Ramna, Meral, Garhwa, Garhwa Road, Tolra, Lalgarh Bihar, Rajhara, Kajri, Daltonganj and Chianki were facing a lot of difficulties in commuting.
The people here were also constantly demanding to start this train. For this, the MP has expressed thanks and gratitude to the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on behalf of himself and the entire public of Palamu parliamentary constituency.
